onWords was officially opened on
March 1st, 2007; a creative writing site
borne out of the ashes of another site,
the Wheel of Time Role-Play. The WoT RP,
as its members fondly referred to it,
was a role-play site that lasted for
nearly seven years. At the end of this
era, however, we were looking for
something new. And so, onWords was born!
As this
site progresses, expect some forums,
some portfolio pages, some good writing
resource links, some book reviews, some
writing articles written by the members,
and all sorts of tips and tricks that go
with our trade. This is an open project
