  • Above all: be creative, be fearless.

  • At all times respect other members and administrators.

  • You own the copyright to your work. However, onWords is a public content forum; if you're worried about something being plagiarized or stolen, please don't post it.

  • Content should be of a 14A rating with profanity and explicit romantic content at a minimum. Anything more above that rating should be marked appropriately with a disclaimer in the title.

  • Use proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization in all posts. (Creative licenses are allowed in creative works.) Normal correspondence should not contain chat room slang and will be subject to deletion by onWords administrators if necessary.

  • Personal information is gathered from anyone who registers including name, age and general location. While onWords respects any wish for privacy and safety, the administrators would appreciate using your real first name instead of some sort of alias that you may use at other sites. If a registration is submitted using a name that we feel is too similar to an alias, you may be asked to resubmit your information.

Users are individually liable for their own contributions and the web site owner expressly disclaims all responsibility or liability for any contributions. onWords administrators reserve the right to monitor its message board and to modify or remove specific content that it deems a violation of its requirements and policies. onWords administrators reserve the right to disclose any information necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post, or remove any information in whole or in part that in the web site owner's sole discretion is objectionable or in violation of these terms and conditions.
